Clearly, quality education ranks high on the "must-have" search list for home shoppers with 78% stating that living near a good school was most important. So important in fact, that many buyers are willing to give up on some of the most sought-after features to be located within a top school district. The Realtor.com survey shows that buyers are willing to give up garages, large backyards, and updated kitchens all to send their children to the right schools.
