Scenic Views Highlight Llano Terrace, Sweetwater’s Newest Neighborhood
Sweetwater’s newest neighborhood, Llano Terrace, now opened, offers new homes by Chesmar, Perry and Westin, and homesites with scenic views of Hill Country canyons and seasonal creeks and waterfalls.
Chesmar and Perry open fully furnished model homes in May in Llano Terrace. Westin completed its model in August.
Chesmar’s Owen model home showcases plans priced from the low $400,000s to $500,000s in Llano Terrace. This 1.5-story home features most of its living space on the main floor, with a gameroom, fourth bedroom and full bath upstairs. The Owen has an open family room and kitchen area, with a gallery opening to the outdoor living area. A study with French doors and a Hill Country front porch round out this popular plan.
A one-story design with lofty 12-15 foot ceilings throughout, Perry’s Plan 2895S model home represents plans priced from the mid $500,000s to $600,000s in Sweetwater. The family room and kitchen area has a huge table island, with a wall of windows overlooking the covered patio. This four-bedroom home includes a master bedroom suite with double walk-in closets. It also has a gameroom, a storage room, and a mudroom off the three-car garage.
Westin’s Carter III model home features a soaring rotunda foyer with a spiral staircase. This elegant design has formal living and dining rooms, and the family room has a dramatic two-story ceiling. The master suite and a guest bedroom are both downstairs, with two more bedrooms and a gameroom up. A fifth bedroom and media room are optional. Westin homes are priced from the high $400,000s to the $600,000s in Llano Terrace.
Located near the Sweetwater Club, Llano Terrace features rolling Hill Country topography and views of surrounding trails and canyonsides. Its most scenic highlight is a natural draw, a terrain feature formed by two parallel ridges with low ground in between them. The draw has a creekbed that is dry for much of the year. During the wet seasons, it comes alive with flowing creeks and waterfalls.
A limited number of homesites in Llano Terrace offers direct frontage along this draw, and all residents will enjoy Hill Country views, especially as they drive across two bridges leading to the neighborhood.
Llano Terrace is near Sweetwater’s newest trail, Llano Stagecoach Trail, which follows part of a historic stagecoach route between Austin and Llano. Remnants of the original stagecoach trail are preserved along the new amenity.
Overall, Sweetwater’s master plan devotes more than 700 acres to amenities, parks, trails and natural open spaces. Our newest amenity, the Overlook Club, offers swimming and socializing with breathtaking Hill Country views across Bee Creek.
