Newland Regional President Bill Meyer Examines How 55+ Buyers 'Right-Size'
Bill Meyer, Newland's Regional President for the Western Region, shared some insights with Builder and Developer Magazine on the active adult's journey to 'right-size' their living space. In classic form, many 55+ home shoppers take flight for warmer climates in typical snowbird fashion. However, baby-chasing grandparents may have shaken-up that migration pattern as they opt to live closer to family to be near grandkids and ride out the pandemic. One thing consistent, regardless of destination, is the desire to live one's best life now which includes being active, socially connected, and having a home that fits their lifestyle.
